Singapore retains its spot as the most expensive city in the world in the latest rankings carried out by Worldwide Cost of Living Report 2017, The Economist Intelligence Unit.
In fact, Asia is now home to five out of the top 6 cities in the survey as Asian cities have become comparatively more expensive.
In 3rd place overall, Zurich is the most expensive European city, while New York is the sole North American city in the top ten.
