Labour on whistle-blowers The Nigeria Labour Congress says corrupt politicians decamping to the ruling party at both federal and state levels should not be spared in the ongoing anti-graft war. Nigeria Labour Congress President Ayuba Wabba made the remarks at a rally in Abuja on Monday to push for the removal of the Minister of State for Health, Osagie Enahire over the an alleged cover up of corrupt practices committed by the medical director of the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri Angela Uwakwem whom the protesters also want removed from her position. Wabba also accused the authorities of intimidating staff whistle-blowers at the Federal Medical Centre and called for greater whistle-blower protection at all levels if government is serious about winning the war against corruption.
